Let’s face it. Every filmmaker/videography conference is in the United States. Travel and accommodations are costly and that exchange rate isn’t fun either. This conference is made by Canadians, for Canadians (but hey, if you’re from out of Country you’re more than welcome to attend!)

Quality of Education

Many things are subjective in a creative industry. That is why we always gather a diverse group of speakers who are all successful professionals from various backgrounds. You’ll hear from award winning wedding filmmakers, boutique production houses to people working on multi-million dollar projects and plenty in-between.

For Filmmakers, by a Filmmaker

This event was founded by and is run by a filmmaker. I know firsthand what it’s like to scour the internet to find a way of improving my business. I know how intimidating it can be to attempt the transition into the commercial world. I’ve felt alone in my struggles. I feel you.

Some people learn best in a lecture-based environment, while others do better in a hands-on setting. You shouldn’t have to choose one or the other, which is why we are working to combine the best of both worlds. The 2023 event should have both lecture based presentations and break-out sessions.

We pour our heart and soul into this event every year. Our goals are the same as the day we started. We will continue to do everything in our power to keep growing this community, to offer the best educational resource possible, and to create the best environment possible to foster personal and professional growth.
